This is a mixed-use development in downtown New Canaan.  There is a fitness center on the first floor and apartments on the second floor.  The building was designed to be consistent with the scale of the surrounding single-family homes and adjacent retail building.  The forms and materials were developed to establish a solid base on the bottom, and a playful and ornate composition above.
