The design of this 38-unit affordable housing / mixed use development included the planning of the revitalization of the South End Neighborhood in Waterbury. The site is partially located on South Main Street, which is a medium density connection to downtown; the building facing this street was designed to maintain the street wall, and to reinforce pedestrian activity. The second building was designed to interact with the Victorian style single family homes in the neighborhood. The project will act as a catalyst for further redevelopment in the neighborhood.
