The approach to the design of this building is derived from the adjacent Westport train station, with traditional forms and materials.  There is a generous outdoor dining area overseeing a pleasant green space, with the train station beyond.  The site is in a coastal flood zone, which created both challenges and opportunities; the building is raised above the flood level, and as a result parking for the site is maximized.
